Who can see my dives and profile?

Your diving life is yours to share and you decide how much of it other divers can see. 🤿

SeaLog lets you control whether your profile is public, whether followers can see your dives, and which parts of those dives are shared.

Some things always stay between you and your logbook: gear, weights, cylinders, and costs are never shown to other divers.

Choose what you share

Open SettingsPrivacy to manage:

  • Public profile: choose whether you appear in search and whether people can open your public profile link.

  • Show my stats: choose whether other divers can see your diving statistics.

  • Show dives to followers: choose whether your followers can see your dives.

    • Photos can be shared or hidden separately.

    • Dive data can be shared or hidden separately.

  • Push notifications: control push notifications from SeaLog.

Change your privacy settings

  1. Open your profile from the avatar in the top-left corner of the SeaLog tab.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Scroll to Privacy.

  4. Turn each option on or off depending on what you’re comfortable sharing.

What always stays private?

Other divers never see your:

  • Gear

  • Weights

  • Cylinders

  • Costs

So you can share the dive story without sharing every detail behind it.

Your dives, your profile, your call.
