Dive numbers out of sync? You can renumber multiple dives at once and get your logbook back in order. 🤿

SeaLog always shows you a preview before saving, and only the dive numbers change, everything else stays exactly as you logged it.

Renumber your dives

  1. Open the SeaLog tab and press and hold a dive.

  2. Select the dives you want to renumber, or tap Select all.

  3. Tap ••• in the selection bar.

  4. Choose Renumber.

  5. Choose Shift or By date.

  6. Check the Preview to see the old and new number for each dive.

  7. Tap Save.

Choose how to renumber

Shift

Moves every selected dive number up or down by the same amount.

For example, shifting by 3 turns dive #1 into #4, #2 into #5, and so on.

Use this when your dives are already in the right order, but the numbering needs to start somewhere else.

By date

Numbers your selected dives consecutively, starting with the oldest dive.

Use this when you want your dive numbers to follow the chronological order of your logbook.

Check the preview, hit save, and your dive numbers are back in line.
