What is the second line on my dive chart?

Seeing a second, lighter line on the chart? That’s your depth profile, there to give the rest of the data some context. 🤿

You’ll see it on the Temperature, Ascent, and No-deco views, helping you understand where you were in the dive when those values changed.

How to read it

The lighter depth line doesn’t have its own axis.

The numbers on the chart belong to the metric you selected such as temperature, ascent rate, or no-deco time. So use the depth line for its shape and position, not by matching it to those values.

For example, on the Temperature view, the lighter line helps you see where the deepest part of the dive happened compared with changes in water temperature.

And just to keep things clear: it isn’t another dive. The second line always shows the depth profile of the dive you’re currently viewing.

Same dive, extra context.
